New Head for ECFH Global Investment Solutions Limited

ECFH Global Investment Solutions Ltd., a subsidiary of East Caribbean Financial Holding Co. (ECFH), has a new person at the helm. Mr. Joel Allen assumed the post on September 21st and so has just been on the job for a few weeks. Mr. Allen has over 9 years diversified senior level experience in the Jamaican financial sector, most of which was spent in the investment and merchant banking arena.  Up until recently, he served as Assistant Vice-President at Scotia DBG Investments Limited.

Mr. Allen is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in Strategic Planning at the Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University (UK). He is the holder of a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and International Business Strategy from the Manchester Business School, University of Manchester (UK), and is a member of the Chartered Management Institute in the UK.

Mr. Allen has received specialized training internationally in several banking and management disciplines. He has managed some large financial sector projects on behalf of the Jamaica Securities Dealers Association (JSDA), including the Jamaican Financial Services Commission’s (FSC’s) Non-bank Compensation Fund Project, the Bank of Jamaica’s Central Securities Depository (CSD) and the Real Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS) Projects. 

ECFH Global Investment Solutions and its parent company, ECFH, are very pleased to welcome Mr. Allen on board.
