Greedy for Green

In 2010, Bank of Saint Lucia launched Greedy for Green, an extension of our Corporate Social Responsibility programme, which involves the adoption of environmentally-friendly practices internally across, as well as supporting external projects that promote environmental conservation and awareness.

While finance is our business, at Bank of Saint Lucia, our greed is a genuine craving or desire to contribute to improving the quality of life of all Saint Lucians; and the protection and conservation of our natural heritage and resources is critical to achieving this.  Our concern is about promoting not just the green of financial success but the green of our natural environment and its conservation.

Bank of Saint Lucia remains steadfast in its commitment to the well-being of the communities that it serves and Greedy for Green is intended to further that commitment significantly. Social partners for the Greedy for Green programme include the St. Lucia National Trust and the St. Lucia Solid Waste Management Authority. Some of the entities who benefitted from the activities undertaken as part of the Greedy for Green programme include the St. Lucia Blind Welfare Association and the Boy’s Training Centre.
