Bank of Saint Lucia has officially signed rising track and field star Naomi London as its new Junior Sports Brand Ambassador. This new partnership celebrates Saint Lucian talent and underscores the Bank’s commitment to youth development.
Naomi, a student-athlete at the University of Texas at Austin, has been blazing a trail on the international stage. In recent months, she smashed Saint Lucia’s national junior 100m record which was previously held by Olympian Julien Alfred where she clocked an impressive time of 11.37 seconds. She has also delivered amazing performances at the Texas Athletics Meet, the Caribbean Championships, and other prestigious events, cementing her place as one of the Caribbean’s most exciting young sprinters.
Her story is one of resilience and determination. After an injury setback threatened to derail her career, Naomi made a stunning comeback, proving her mental strength and dedication to excellence. This drive, combined with her natural talent, has made her a role model for aspiring athletes across Saint Lucia and the wider region.
Through this three-year agreement, Naomi will collaborate with Bank of Saint Lucia on a range of initiatives, including:
- Youth-focused events and financial literacy programs designed to inspire the next generation.
- Brand campaigns and community engagement projects.
- Media and public speaking opportunities to help hone her skills off the track while representing Saint Lucia globally.
In addition to providing direct financial support, Bank of Saint Lucia will also offer mentorship and investment opportunities aimed at helping Naomi plan for her long-term career both as an athlete and as a young professional.
Naomi London shared: “It’s such an honor to partner with Bank of Saint Lucia as their Junior Sports Brand Ambassador. BOSL has always been a strong supporter of community and youth development, and I’m excited to be part of their mission. I hope to use this platform to inspire young people to chase their dreams relentlessly – on the track, in school, or in any passion they pursue. I want them to know that challenges are just stepping stones to success.”
Rolf Phillips, Managing Director of Bank of Saint Lucia, stated: “Naomi is not only an outstanding athlete, but also a role model whose resilience, discipline, and ambition reflect the values we uphold at BOSL. This partnership reinforces our commitment to investing in the youth of Saint Lucia. We believe Naomi’s journey will inspire countless young people to work hard, aim high, and represent our island with pride on the world stage.”
This announcement marks another milestone in Bank of Saint Lucia’s mission to champion local talent and create pathways for young Saint Lucians to succeed not only in their chosen fields but also in building strong financial futures.
