The Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange (ECSE), in collaboration with its licensed member broker-dealers and the Eastern Caribbean Securities Regulatory Commission (ECSRC), announces the fourth annual Trevor E. Blake Regional Schools Investment Competition (RSIC), giving students across the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) an opportunity to build practical investment knowledge and experience.
Scheduled for October and November 2026, the competition will simulate real-world investing in a structured educational environment. Before trading begins, participating students will attend an Investment Education Webinar covering investment fundamentals, financial securities and the operation of the Eastern Caribbean securities market.
The RSIC is open to students in Forms 3–5 and first-year tertiary programmes at schools throughout the eight ECCU member countries. By applying investment concepts in a competitive setting, students will gain first-hand exposure to securities-market activity, strengthen their financial decision-making skills and deepen their understanding of investing. Participating schools will compete for the title of Regional Schools Investment Champion.

Through the annual RSIC, the ECSE, its licensed member broker-dealers and the ECSRC reaffirm their commitment to expanding investment education and financial awareness among young people. By helping students develop practical knowledge and confidence as emerging investors, the initiative supports the continued growth of the money and capital markets across the ECCU.
