On September 4, the director general of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), H.E. Dr. Didacus Jules, welcomed officials from the Embassy of the United States of America to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean during a courtesy visit at the OECS Commission Headquarters.
The visiting delegation comprised Saint Lucia and multilateral affairs advisor Ms. Alexandra J. King Pile, and political specialist Ms. Amelia E. Swift. The meeting served as an introduction to the director general and an opportunity to gain deeper insights into the work and priorities of the OECS Commission.
Dr. Jules provided the delegation with an overview of the Commission’s ongoing initiatives and highlighted several impactful projects successfully executed in partnership with the United States. He expressed sincere appreciation for the continued collaboration and generous support extended by the U.S. over the years.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close engagement and strengthening dialogue in pursuit of shared goals.
