Today, Bank of Saint Lucia proudly celebrates 25 years of serving the people of Saint Lucia.

Jul 1, 2026

What began on July 1st, 2001, with the merger of the National Commercial Bank and the Saint Lucia Development Bank has grown into the island's leading financial institution. For a quarter of a century, generations of Saint Lucians have walked through Bank of Saint Lucia’s doors to open their first savings account, secure funding to purchase a home or pay for their child's education. Today, BOSL celebrates these moments and the people who have shaped its success.

The 25th anniversary celebrations will continue throughout the year with a series of activities focused on appreciation, reflection and giving back. A special commemorative newspaper supplement will feature congratulatory messages from organisations, customers and long standing partners who have contributed to BOSL’s success over the years. The celebrations will also include a Thanksgiving Mas, customer appreciation days across the branch network, staff appreciation initiatives and a number of corporate social responsibility projects that reflect the Bank's enduring belief that success is measured not only by financial performance, but by the positive impact it has on the communities it serves.

“Twenty-five years is an achievement we are incredibly proud of, but our greatest accomplishment will always be the trust our customers place in us every day,” said Managing Director, Mr. Rolf Phillips. “Through financial literacy initiatives, youth and sports development programmes, cultural events and charitable causes, BOSL has consistently invested in the social and economic well being of Saint Lucia. This anniversary is our opportunity to thank the people of Saint Lucia for allowing us to be part of their lives and to continue serving them for generations to come.”

Bank of Saint Lucia extends sincere thanks to every customer, employee, shareholder, partner and organisation that has been part of its story over the past 25 years. This celebration belongs to all who have placed their trust in BOSL and the Bank looks forward to building on that legacy.
